Bayern Munich: What do new signings add to the squad?

The first signing of the transfer window came early for Bayern Munich, one that was agreed upon before last season came to an end. Noussair Mazraoui has been a consistent performer for Ajax. Nagelsmann and Bayern were able to beat competition from top clubs in Europe to seal the signing of one of the most promising right-backs in the game.
It has been evident that Bayern has often lacked the cutting edge in the right-back position. Mazraoui will be bringing more quality and competition in this position. He will also allow Benjamin Pavard to play in his preferred center-back position. As the season progresses, Mazraoui is likely to become the first choice right-back.
Mazraoui will have plenty of minutes to his name and the opportunity to show why he is a crucial signing. Looking back to last season, he scored an astounding five goals in just 25 league games. For any defender, that is quite an impressive feat.
Not only is Mazraoui a quality defender, but he also offers Bayern a new outlet going forward in the attack, which will play very nicely into the high-line defensive setup. Watch for him to quickly earn a lot of game time in a position that needed addressing this summer at Bayern.\
