After nearly two months without competitive football, Bayern Munich will be kicking off the new season on Saturday. The Bundesliga champions will be facing RB Leipzig in the DFL Supercup at Red Bull Arena Leipzig on Saturday.

Die Roten travelled to the USA for a pre-season tour. It was the first tour for the club since 2019. Julian Nagelsmann got enough time to work with the entire squad at Sabner Strasse. Players managed to get minutes under their belt during the pre-season friendlies against DC United and Manchester City in the USA.

RB Leipzig will be coming into this game on the back of a strong Ruckrunde last season. Dominic Tedesco has managed to earn a new deal after delivering good results since taking over at the halfway point in the last campaign. Die Roten is expected to face a tricky game against the home side as Nagelsmann looks to win his second consecutive DFL Supercup.

The performance and result against Leipzig will nicely set up the season for Die Roten. There are too many intriguing things to watch out for in this game. We have picked up three crucial things which we are excited to look out for in Saturday’s curtain raiser of the first division football in Germany.
