The preparations for the new season are underway for Bayern Munich at Sabner Strasse. Some of the first team players that were not involved with national teams in June reported for training. The Bavarian club is set to welcome the rest of the senior players in the coming days.

After training at Sabner Strasse, the first team squad will be travelling to the USA for the pre-season tour. It will be the first tour for the senior squad since 2019 due to the pandemic. The Bavarian club is set to play two pre-season friendly games against Manchester City and DC United during the tour.

Die Roten couldn’t manage to schedule more games during the tour since the season is set to start early due to World Cup in November. The German Champions will be facing RB Leipzig in DFL Superclub at the end of July, and the Bundesliga campaign will begin away at Eintracht Frankfurt on August 6.

The pre-season is set to be crucial for Die Roten ahead of a jampacked schedule next season. Ahead of the first-team training with the entire squad at the start of next week, we look at three things to watch out for during pre-season.
