The upcoming transfer window will witness Bayern Munich involved in the deal of the summer. However, it will be a departure for the German club as Robert Lewandowski is eager to leave Bavaria and join FC Barcelona. The Polish striker remains determined to seal a move despite the club officials insisting that he has a contract to honour.

At the end of the Bundesliga campaign, Lewandowski first time publicly expressed his desire to leave Bavaria. However, his words were received with defiance from the likes of Hasan Salihamidzic and Herbert Hainer.

Despite the words from Hainer and Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich seems to be working on deals for possible replacements for Robert Lewandowski. The Bavarian club reportedly received the first offer from FC Barcelona worth €32 million, but there has been no suggestion of it getting accepted.

Pini Zahavi, Lewandowski’s agent, came out with an explosive interview that revealed indecisiveness from Bayern that will lead to his client’s departure. Meanwhile, Lewandowski continues to put pressure on Die Roten to force a transfer. While talking to Eleven Sports PL (via iMiaSanMia) on Sunday, Lewandowski once again admitted that he cannot see himself playing at Bayern next season.

"“It depends on several factors – I think my situation is clear and it makes no sense to talk about it. It’s difficult to say that I will play for Bayern next season.”"

Lewandowski also told Sky Sports Germany that an update regarding his future could be revealed in the coming days. It does seem like things are in motion for Lewandowski’s exit from Bavaria. Spanish journalists Matteo Moretto and Toni Juanmarti have indicated that Bayern is slowly getting convinced about parting ways with the Polish striker.

The current transfer window is the last opportunity for Bayern to get a good fee for Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with interested clubs in January next year if he fails to seal a transfer this summer.

Meanwhile, Bayern is also working on a deal for Liverpool’s Sadio Mane. The Senegalese forward is expected to tell Liverpool about his desire to leave this summer after a successful tenure of six years. The German Champions are leading the race to sign Mane. Hasan Salihamidzic has reportedly held talks with the forward’s representatives.

Along with Mane, Die Roten is also working on a deal to sign Sasa Kalajdzic from VfB Stuttgart. The Austrian striker and Mane will together fill the void left by Lewandowski. The coming weeks will give more clarity about these three transfers as Bayern looks to get deals done before the pre-season in July.
