Bayern Munich: Possible starting XI in final league game against Wolfsburg
The Bundesliga campaign will be coming to an end this weekend. Bayern Munich managed to seal the title three weeks ago against Borussia Dortmund, but they will be looking to end the campaign on a strong note when they travel to Wolfsburg on Saturday.
Die Roten was held for a high-scoring draw by VfB Stuttgart last weekend. The Bavarian team was officially handed the title after the game, so the performance in the game took a backseat. Julian Nagelsmann will be hoping for a much better display against Wolfsburg.
The German coach is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI as he looks to give more playing time to fringe players. Marc Roca and Corentin Tolisso will be missing the game at Wolfsburg due to illness, while Bouna Sarr remains a doubt for the game. The trip to Wolfsburg could have been the last game in Bavarian colours for these three players as they are expected to leave in the summer. Let us look at the possible starting XI for Bayern on Saturday.
Rotation at the back
Manuel Neuer will continue in the goal for Die Roten on Saturday. Nagelsmann has confirmed that Josip Stanisic will start against Wolfsburg, so he is likely to replace Benjamin Pavard in the lineup. The Croatian defender will operate as a right-back on Saturday.
Niklas Sule is likely to start in his final game for the club. The German defender will be playing for Borussia Dortmund from next season. Sule will most likely partner Dayot Upamecano in the heart of defense against Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Alphonso Davies will operate in the left-back position.
Midfield will see minimal changes
With Tolisso and Roca ruled out for the game, Nagelsmann is likely to stick with Joshua Kimmich in the holding midfield role. Marcel Sabitzer may get a rare start on Saturday as he is likely to operate in the number eight role. The Austrian midfielder will be looking to end a difficult campaign on a good note. He is set to stay in Bavaria next season despite being linked with multiple clubs.
Couple of changes in the attack
Jamal Musiala has delivered several impressive performances in limited playing time this season. The German youngster may end up with a start in the final league game of the season, while Thomas Muller starts on the bench. Musiala will operate in the number ten role against Wolfsburg.

Serge Gnabry did well against Stuttgart last weekend, so he is likely to keep his place in the team on Saturday. With Kingsley Coman suspended for this game, Leroy Sane will come back in the lineup. Robert Lewandowski will be the focal point of the attack on Saturday. The Polish striker could also end up playing his final game for the club as he eyes a summer transfer.
