The upcoming summer transfer window is set to be eventful for Bayern Munich in terms of arrivals of arrivals and departures. The Bavarian club is set to part ways with at least two senior players, as Corentin Tolisso and Niklas Sule leave on free transfers.

Meanwhile, few players in the first team will be moving to get more playing time next season. Marc Roca is linked with a move away from the club, while clubs are reportedly showing interest in signing Marcel Sabitzer. Bouna Sarr is also expected to leave Die Roten as he has struggled for playing time under Julian Nagelsmann.

Along with permanent departures, Bayern will also send young players out on loan to get valuable game time at the top level. Tanguy Nianzou was also expected to leave Die Roten on loan in the summer, but it is now looking likely that he will be staying in Bavaria for next season.

During the pre-match press conference on Friday (via Sport1), Julian Nagelsmann ruled out a loan move for Tanguy Nianzou. The German coach is pleased with the development of the young defender and expects him to play a big role in the first team next season.

"“Loaning Tanguy out is not an option, he’ll definitely stay with us. He has developed well. He’s a great talent and for me, he’s planned as a permanent member of the squad and will play a role.”"

Nianzou arrived at Bayern from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2020. The German club moved swiftly to secure his signing. Hasan Salihamidzic rates the young defender highly and backs him to be a key player for the club in the future.

The debut season in the Bundesliga turned out to be a nightmare for Tanguy Nianzou. He spent a lot of time on the sideline due to injuries. The French defender got very limited playing time in the first season, but the club decided against sending him out on loan in the last summer transfer window.

Despite the arrival of Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig in the summer, Nianzou has got decent playing time this season. He has managed to make 15 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, which included five starts. The young French defender should be eyeing at least 25 appearances in the Bundesliga for the first team next season.

Nianzou’s chances of getting more playing time next season will certainly increase as Sule will leave in June to join Borussia Dortmund. Benjamin Pavard is expected to move into central defense, so Nianzou will be competing with three players for a place in the starting XI. If he continues to show improvement, then he can stake a claim to become a reliable performer for Bayern from next season.
