Malik Tillman

Malik Tillman is a young talented striker/ attacking midfielder for Die Roten, who has been in the headlines for his amazing performance in the youth team. With his control, pace, strength, and awareness, Tillman was soon used upfront on a full-time basis, and the results were impressive. Bayern’s academy boss Jochen Sauer lauded the young German talent.

"“Malik’s one of the younger lads in the U19s, but he’s a beast physically. He has very, very good technique. He’s difficult to nudge off the ball. He’ll get even better if he becomes more dynamic.”"

Also, The United States Soccer Federation is trying to lure Tillman to represent the USA over Germany in the future.  The youngster is content to play for Germany after playing for the European country at the junior level. Often, Tilman is compared to the French midfield maestro Paul Pogba since he also has an amazing technical skillset along with having a great physical presence.

Tillman has scored 13 goals for Bayern’s U19 team along with seven assists in 2021. He made his Bundesliga senior debut on Matchday 16 of 2021/22, coming off the bench in a 5-0 win over VfB Stuttgart. There is a lot of competition in the final third at Bayern, so Tillman may have to go out on loan in the summer to get consistent playing time. Considering the overall skillset of Tillman, he is definitely one to watch for Bayern in the future.
