Bayern Munich has always been an ideal setup for various players across Europe over the last few decades. The German club has been often praised for having the right structure to achieve sporting access while maintaining financial stability.

One of the key reasons for achieving sustained success at Bayern has been the involvement of former players at the board level. For years, Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have been in administration to make Die Roten one of the most successful clubs in the world.

Considering the success of Bayern over the years, various players glowingly about their experience in Bavaria. It remains one of the most attractive sporting projects in football for young and experienced players.

Along with players featuring for Die Roten, stars that have not played in Bavaria also have good words to say about the club. In a recent interview with Bild (via SempreMilan), AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic heaped praise on Bayern. The legendary Swede forward also insisted that he had contemplated moving to Bavaria in the past.

"“I was curious about the Bundesliga. You have a team like Bayern Munich, an incredible club. Every time I played against them you could see the facilities, the stadium, the organisation. The history of the club is quite impressive.”"

Along with having the best structure, the ambitious culture at Bayern also plays a big role in achieving collective success. During an interview with Footmercato last week, former defender Mehdi Benatia had interesting words to say about the culture in Bavaria. The Moroccan defender insisted that no player is bigger at Bayern, and everyone has to work equally hard to achieve success on the pitch.

Die Roten has undergone changes in administration during the last 18 months. After a long successful tenure, Hoeness and Rummenigge have taken a step back. Herbert Hainer is the new president, while former goalkeeper Oliver Kahn is the CEO of the club. Former midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic sits on the board and also works as the sporting director.

Despite the departure of old faces, Bayern is likely to be operated on the same principles. They will continue to look for younger players in the transfer market and avoid making superstar signings. The head coach of the first team will also work in line with the club’s principles. Moreover, Die Roten will continue to strive for success along with maintaining financial balance.
