The upcoming summer transfer window is very crucial for Bayern Munich. Julian Nagelsmann wants more depth in the squad, so Hasan Salihamidzic needs to sign quality players to fill the gaps in the current team. The Bavarian club is looking to wrap up the business quickly, which explains the concrete talks for two Ajax stars.

According to Sky Sports, Bayern has made concrete offers for Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui. These two players address the midfield and right-back positions in the current Die Roten squad. The club officials reportedly visited Ajax to assess both players and make their intentions clear about signing them.

Gravenberch has one year left on his current deal, so Rekordmeister will be looking to sign him for a reasonable fee. Ajax reportedly wants €30 million for the midfielder. The latest reports in Germany and Netherlands suggest that the Bavarian club has made an offer worth €25 million for the young midfielder.

Mazraoui was expected to join Barcelona as the Catalan club offered €5 million/year. However, Die Roten has reportedly offered an even bigger wage packet to convince the right-back to select Bavaria as his next destination. Mazraoui will be a free agent in the summer transfer window.

Both players have Mino Raiola as their agent, so Die Roten will be building a good rapport with him if these deals get over the line. Moreover, there have been constant murmurs in the German media that Bayern is also interested in Erling Haaland. The Borussia Dortmund striker is also managed by Raiola.

It is good to see the management at Bayern is back to completing a major chunk of the business even before the window opens. There is still work to do for the completion of both deals, but the current updates suggest that both transfers are well advanced.

Gravenberch will add more dynamism to the midfield department. He is already a regular for the Dutch national team at the age of 19. With the best years of his career ahead of him, Die Roten could end up getting a bargain deal for a super talent.

Meanwhile, Mazraoui will address the problematic right-back position in the squad. The Moroccan full-back will add more threat on the right flank and allow Rekordmeister to become an efficient team while building from the back.

The upcoming summer transfer window will see various clubs spend heavily as the impact of the pandemic on finances eases out. In such a scenario, it is essential to make early moves and avoid getting into bidding wars. Going by their efforts to sign Gravenberch and Mazraoui, it does look like Bayern believes in this principle.
