Bayern Munich: Predicted starting XI for trip to Hoffenheim
Nagelsmann could rotate in the midfield for Bayern
There is no change in midfield options for the game against Hoffenheim. Leon Goretzka is making steady progress in his recovery from a knee injury, but he is far from returning to the matchday squad. Meanwhile, Corentin Tolisso has been training on the pitch, but he is not yet completely fit to travel with the squad.
Joshua Kimmich will continue to feature for Die Roten in the midfield this weekend. The German international has got no rest since recovering from COVID in January. He plays a key role in the proper functioning of the midfield, so he has to start every game.
Marc Roca may get an opportunity against Hoffenheim on Saturday. After delivering a few impressive performances at the end of Hinrunde, Roca has found it difficult to get starts for Die Roten. However, Saturday is the right time to test him against strong opposition, while Jamal Musiala can make an impact from the bench.

In the attack, Robert Lewandowski will continue to lead the line for the Bavarian club. Thomas Muller will operate in the number ten position behind Lewandowski. Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry are likely to start on the left and right flank, respectively. Kingsley Coman fared well against Salzburg but Die Roten may look to give him fewer minutes since he suffered a minor muscle injury on Tuesday.
