The current form of Bayern Munich has been up and down, but they have managed to deliver quality performances across the campaign. Some individuals have managed to deliver their best performances in Bavarian colours. The arrival of Julian Nagelsmann has helped these individuals to get back to their best.

Leroy Sane has been one of these players that are enjoying a productive campaign with Bayern. The German international has been one of the standout wingers in Europe this season, showing his incredible talent on a consistent basis.

Sane endured a difficult start to the season. The struggles from his debut campaign continued in the second season. The German winger was jeered by the Bavarian faithful in a Bundesliga game as he struggled to make an impact on the pitch.

After the first international break, Sane picked up form and never looked back. He is heavily contributing to the attack through goals and assists. Sane is in much better space now after enduring a difficult debut season. While talking to BamS last weekend (via iMiaSanMia), Leroy Sane admitted that he feels settled at Bayern and has no plans to move in the near future.

"“I have no thoughts of moving. I feel very comfortable at Bayern, we’re playing good football, a new generation is being built here, we have a young coach. I have big goals with the club. That’s all I think of.”"

Leroy Sane has previously praised Die Roten for supporting him during the difficult debut campaign. The German winger was joining the club after recovering from a serious knee injury that kept him out of action for nine months.

Sane’s good form this season started after Nagelsmann decided to tweak his position in the starting lineup. For the majority of his career, Sane has played as a wide player. He played on the right flank in most of the games during his debut season at Bayern. Nagelsmann decided to move him to the left and give him much more freedom in central zones.

The German winger no longer had the duty to hold the width. He was looking much more potent when he was coming inside from the left flank. His numbers eventually improved significantly after the tweak in his position. Sane has managed 13 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

The last few weeks have been quiet for Sane in terms of goals and assists. Despite not getting goal contributions, the overall performances from Sane in the same period have been good. It is a matter of time for him to go on another long streak of scoring/assisting goals. A goal against RB Salzburg on Tuesday will be a great way to get back in scoring form.
