Bayern Munich weigh up alternative for Andreas Christensen

The confirmation of Niklas Sule leaving Bayern Munich to join Borussia Dortmund in the summer has sparked a lot of speculation. The Bavarian club is assessing the situation to find an appropriate replacement for the German international.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has been reported as the prime transfer target for Rekordmeister. Talks with Chelsea over a new deal have stalled, so as things stand, Christensen will be a free agent in the summer. Previously, a report in Italy has suggested that Bremer has been generating interest from Rekordmeister. The Brazilian defender has been a consistent performer for Torino ever since arriving from Atletico Mineiro in 2018. Torino will be forced to cash in during the next transfer window unless he agrees to contract renewal.

This process of looking at alternatives is normal for Die Roten. They are probably laying down the groundwork for all possible outcomes from talks with Christensen.
