The winter transfer window provides opportunities for sending young players out on loan for the rest of the season to get experience at the top level. Bayern Munich also has several young players that are ready to go out on loan to get consistent playing time.

Armindo Sieb is one of such young talent at Die Roten that can go out on loan and play senior football. However, a loan move is unlikely to take place during the winter transfer window. According to Sky Sports in Germany, Bayern has decided to reject loan proposals for Sieb this month.

The report from Sky confirms that Sieb had the opportunity to go out on loan to Hannover and play in the second division. However, Julian Nagelsmann and reserve team head coach Jochen Sauer convinced the player to stay in Bavaria. Nagelsmann and Sauer both have high hopes for the young forward.

Sieb could eventually go out on loan in the summer if the reserves team doesn’t get promoted to the second division. Playing another year in the third division with the second team may not be an attractive proposition for the young forward.

Die Roten brought Sieb from Hoffenheim in 2020. The young forward has been playing with the junior teams at Bayern. He was part of the senior team squad for the pre-season. Sieb was reportedly one of the four young players that impressed Nagelsmann during pre-season training and friendly games.

For the time being, the Sieb should be looking to get the maximum amount of training with the first team in the next five months. The experience with the senior team will help him to polish various rough aspects of his game. Nagelsmann is known for giving opportunities to young players, so training well with the first team can definitely reap the rewards for Sieb.

The young German forward will be in a good place to assess loan options during the summer transfer window. Considering the intense competition for a place in the attacking positions in the senior team, Sieb will be better served in improving himself by getting a good loan move next summer.

Elsewhere, it does look like Rekordmeister will have to arrange a loan move for Christian Fruchtl. The young goalkeeper is now completely fit as he was on the bench against Borussia Monchengladbach. Sven Ulreich has also recovered from his injury, so Fruchtl should be looking to get the right loan move this month to get consistent playing time.
