In the next few transfer windows, Bayern Munich is expected to improve the attacking options. The immediate signings will heavily depend on the future of Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski. Rekordmeister will need top-quality forwards to replace both forwards.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has previously suggested that Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez can be a very good signing for Die Roten in the future. The former club CEO has been recently talking to Italian publications about young talents.

In another latest interview, Rummenigge has dropped another name that can be suitable for Rekordmeister. While talking to RTV38 (via iMiaSanMia), Rummenigge believes that Juventus forward Federico Chiesa will be a perfect signing for Bayern. The former German international has been impressed with Chiesa’s performances at club and country level.

Chiesa grabbed the attention of numerous European clubs with his consistent performances at Fiorentina. Despite interest from various top clubs, the Italian forward eventually decided to join Juventus in 2020. Chiesa initially joined on loan, but Juventus have an obligation to make the transfer permanent in 2022.

The 24-year-old winger is an exciting forward, but Rekordmeister will find it difficult to reach an agreement with Juventus for a transfer. Chiesa has reportedly rejected moves away from Italy, so it will be a big surprise if he decides to leave Juventus.

Chiesa is an explosive wide forward, but there is still significant scope for improvement in the final third when it comes to productivity. The Italian forward has been getting in double figures for goals and assists, but his direct style of play can really help him to score at least 20 goals in a season.

Before thinking about possible options in the wide areas, Die Roten’s immediate priority is to extend the contract of Kingsley Coman. The Bavarian club has finally reopened talks with the representatives with Coman. The next few months will be crucial for the long-term future of Coman in Bavaria.

If Coman decides against signing a new deal, then Die Roten will have to start assessing options for wingers. The Bavarian club has already been linked with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. Chiesa could become an option if Coman does end up bringing a good fee next summer.

Meanwhile, Bayern will also reportedly start talks with Lewandowski in 2022. Herbert Hainer recently reiterated the importance of the Polish striker to the club as he ended 2021 with 69 goals. Lewandowski has also previously hinted that he wants to enjoy more success with the German club.
