No changes in midfield for Bayern
The midfield department of the Bayern squad continues to be thin due to injuries and other problems. Leon Goretzka and Corentin Tolisso have been ruled out for the clash against Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Joshua Kimmich is expected to start training on the pitch on January 2 as he continues recovery from COVID-19.
Marcel Sabitzer will be back in the squad on Friday. However, the Austrian midfielder is not fit to start, so he is likely to get a few minutes in the second half.
