Midfield and Attack select itself for Bayern Munich

In the midfield department, Nagelsmann has fairly straightforward decisions to make. The German Champions will be without Joshua Kimmich for this game since he is in quarantine after coming in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Leon Goretzka will be starting in the midfield. The German international is likely to be paired with Corentin Tolisso in the center of the park since Nagelsmann confirmed that Marcel Sabitzer is doubtful for the game due to injury. Tolisso will be looking to grab this opportunity with both hands and make a case to get a long run in the team.

Higher up the pitch, Leroy Sane is likely to start on the left flank. The German winger couldn’t make an impact against Augsburg, but his form in the past six weeks has been sensational for club and country. Hopefully, the performance against Augsburg was just an anomaly, and he gets back to his best against Dynamo Kyiv.

Robert Lewandowski will be leading the line for the German Champions in Kyiv. The Polish striker will be looking to get into double digits for the season in the Champions League after scoring eight in the first four group games. Meanwhile, Thomas Muller will be the third forward in the front three on Tuesday. The German forward could operate on the right since the likes of Kingsley Coman, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, and Jamal Musiala are ruled out for this game.
