It has been a difficult week for Bayern Munich. The Bavarian club was dumped out of DFB Pokal after they suffered 5-0 defeat away at Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday. The game at Borussia was expected to be a tricky one, but the defeat of such a big margin was not expected from Die Roten.

The good thing for Bayern is that the next game is just around the corner. They will be travelling away to Union Berlin on Saturday in the Bundesliga. Die Roten need a good performance and result in Berlin after Wednesday’s catastrophic performance.

Julian Nagelsmann’s men had responded brilliantly after the defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt before the second international break of the season. The Bavarian club has been largely consistent in the Bundesliga, churning out good results and performances week in week out. Nagelsmann will continue to work remotely for this game as he remains in isolation after testing positive for COVID last week.

Union Berlin currently sits fourth in the Bundesliga table, so Bayern will have to be at their best to get a good win on Saturday. Moreover, Union has also enjoyed good results and performance on the home turf. Ahead of such a tricky league game, let’s look at the possible team that could start for Die Roten on Saturday.
