The second international break of the season finally came to an end earlier this week. For the next four weeks, the attention will switch to club football. Bayern Munich will be resuming club football with an away trip to Bayer Leverkusen.

Die Roten went to the international break on a sour note as they suffered the first defeat of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena. Apart from this defeat, it has been a near-perfect start to the campaign for Julian Nagelsmann as his team has got better with time. The defending champions have scored at least three goals in all but two games this season.

The defeat against Frankfurt was just a bad day in the office. After a gruelling three weeks where there were midweek games, players did look tired against Frankfurt. However, they did create enough chances for a comfortable win, but the rare inefficiency in front of the goal cost them three points.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen has also enjoyed a flying start to the season. They currently sit second in the points table, separated from Die Roten merely on goal difference. Gerardo Seoane has got the perfect start to his stint at Leverkusen, with the team playing an attractive style of football. Let us look at the possible team Julian Nagelsmann will use against a challenging game against Leverkusen.
