Bayern Munich suffer setback in pursuit of Karim Adeyemi
The performances of Karim Adeyemi for Red Bull Salzburg and Germany have been attracting a lot of attention from top European clubs. According to Patrick Berger of Sport1, Borussia Dortmund is leading the race for Karim Adeyemi after positive talks with his representatives. The German forward has been subject to interest from RB Leipzig, Bayern, and Dortmund.
Apart from Sport1, Sky Sports in Germany is also reporting that Dortmund and Leipzig are ahead in the race for the signing of Adeyemi. The German media outlet also confirmed that Liverpool is also interested in the young forward.
Adeyemi has been linked with Die Roten for quite some time. However, the likes of RB Leipzig and Dortmund are likely to offer better assurances in terms of consistent playing time. The youngster has enjoyed a very good development trajectory at Salzburg by playing regularly in the senior team, so he will be eyeing similar conditions to take the next step in his career.
