Bayern has been scoring goals for fun, so it is not a surprise that this list had all attacking players. Nagelsmann is getting the best out of young and veteran attacking players. The team averaged three or more goals in every game during September.

Thomas Muller extended his good start to the new campaign with fine performances during September. The 32-year-old forward played a vital role in Die Roten’s five wins in the past few weeks. The German international is indispensable to the current side due to his contribution on and off the ball.

Along with his usual tireless pressing and clever runs that create space for other forwards, Muller also had very good goal contributions in the last five games. Muller managed to score two goals and three assists during the run of five games in September. After scoring against Fuerth last weekend, Muller went past Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the list of goalscorers for Die Roten. With 218 goals to his name, Muller now sits on third place in the goalscorer list for the Bavarian club.
