Leroy Sane

After a difficult first month of the season, Leroy Sane has bounced back brilliantly. The German winger has been a mainstay in the starting XI as he keeps on improving his performances with every passing game.

The turnaround for Sane was complete as he celebrated his goal with fans against Dynamo Kyiv after getting jeered by them a month ago against FC Koln. Along with Sane, Nagelsmann has also a big role in the winger’s change of fortunes as he has given him an extended run on the left flank.

In the last five games across all competitions, Sane has managed three goals and four assists. The 25-year-old forward managed to provide one assist in the big games against Barcelona and RB Leipzig. Along with providing a threat on the left flank, the German winger is also occupying central positions during games, which unsettles the opposition defense.

Sane had endured a difficult debut season in Bavaria. After a year of settling in, Sane is finally looking somewhat near his best. The next target for Sane is to keep delivering top-quality performances week in week out.  The former Manchester City winger has recovered from early-season jitters, but now the focus turns to consistency.
