Nagelsmann will continue to rotate defenders

The choice in the goal for Nagelsmann is straightforward. After being a mere spectator against Barcelona, Neuer will be hoping that his team continues to defend better and concede minimum shots on target. The German goalkeeper missed out on a clean sheet the last gameweek against RB Leipzig, so he will be looking to double his league tally by getting one on Saturday.

Nagelsmann may continue to rotate one player in the heart of the defense. Lucas Hernandez was on the bench against Barcelona, so he may get the start on Saturday. The French defender will partner Dayot Upamecano in central defense.

Upamecano has been a mainstay in the first team since arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer. The young French defender is likely to remain the first central defender on the team sheet for some time if he continues to maintain current consistency in his performances.

Alphonso Davies caused so many problems for Barcelona on Tuesday. The Canadian winger is back to his absolute best after a difficult season last year. Benjamin Pavard has played two games in the last few days, so he could get a breather on Saturday. Josip Stanisic will slot in the right-back position against Bochum.
