Musiala is due a start for Bayern against Hertha

Leon Goretzka will return for Die Roten in the midfield on Saturday. The German midfielder has endured few frustrating injuries in the last two seasons, so managing his workload is the right move from Nagelsmann as Goretzka didn’t travel with the squad for a midweek game.

Joshua Kimmich will be the other midfield player for Rekordmeister on Saturday. Fresh from agreeing to a new long-term contract with the club, Kimmich will be looking to round off an important week with a good performance against Hertha Berlin.

Thomas Muller will play behind the striker on Saturday, but his position is likely to be flexible. Jamal Musiala has been impressive in the past couple of games, so the youngster deserves to get a chance to play from the chance. The young German international is likely to keep changing positions with Muller in the attack. Muller may slot in the left flank when Musiala is venturing in central positions.

Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry will occupy the right flank for Die Roten on Saturday. The German winger will be looking to build on last week’s performance as he scored a brace in 3-2 win against FC Koln last weekend. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the German Champions against Hertha Berlin.
