After a mixed performance away at Borussia Park in the first game of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich shifts attention towards the DFL Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday. The game against fierce rivals also offers Julian Nagelsmann the first opportunity to win silverware with Die Roten.

The German Champions have endured a difficult pre-season as they have leaked goals at the back. The first Bundesliga game also witnessed a similar trend as Gladbach scored early in the first half. Die Roten struggled to dominate the game straight away as the home side looked threatening on the break.

However, Nagelsmann’s men have reacted well after going behind. They piled on the pressure on Gladbach by playing high-tempo football. The effort from the Bavarian team was eventually rewarded as Robert Lewandowski scored the equaliser. It could have been three points on Friday if Yann Sommer was not in sensational form. The Swiss goalkeeper made numerous saves to keep the score level.

Going into the game against Dortmund, Nagelsmann has the same squad that was available against Gladbach. Lucas Hernandez and Marc Roca continue to recover from their respective injuries and remain unavailable for selection. Let us look at the possible team that could start against Dortmund later tonight.
