Midfield and Attack for Bayern Munich against Freiburg

In the midfield department, Flick will not have Goretzka. He is likely to go ahead with Joshua Kimmich in the number six position. The German international has been brilliant for Die Roten this season, so ending the season strongly ahead of Euros will be on the agenda for Kimmich.

David Alaba is likely to play his last two games in the Bavarian shirt as a midfielder. The Austrian has played in the center of the park on numerous occasions this season. Alaba is deployed as a box-to-box midfielder instead of a deeper role. His crossing from the left flank has been a valuable asset whenever he contributes in the final third while playing in the midfield. Alaba will be looking to end his time at the club by delivering strong performances in the last two games.

Thomas Muller will be occupying the role of number ten role against Freiburg. He was imperious against Gladbach as he got himself on the scoresheet. It has been another remarkable season for the veteran forward as he continues to age like a fine wine.

Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman will be occupying the right and left flank against Freiburg, respectively. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the German Champions. The Polish striker needs two goals to break Gerd Muller’s record.
