Bayern Munich enjoyed a very productive February. They remain at the top of the Bundesliga despite suffering two setbacks in the last couple of weeks. However, the lead at the top of the table is trimmed to three points, paving the way for an exciting end to the Bundesliga title race.

The German Champions became World Champions in February. Die Roten convincingly won two games in Qatar to lift the Club World Cup. The German club also made history by winning this trophy as they are the only second team in Europe to win a sextuple after Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side.

Off the pitch, Die Roten made an important acquisition for next summer by reaching an agreement with Dayot Upamecano. The French defender will be moving to Bavaria when his release clause worth €42.5 million becomes active. Reading full-back Omar Richards has also reportedly agreed personal terms with Rekordmeister to join on a free transfer in the summer.

There was bad news on the injury front as Corentin Tolisso suffered a serious injury that will reportedly keep him out for six months. Thomas Muller, Leon Goretzka, Javi Martinez, and Benjamin Pavard were tested positive for coronavirus, while Douglas Costa and Alexander Nubel also sidelined due to injuries. After an eventful February for good and bad reasons, let us look at three things to watch out for in March.
