Goal number 27 and 28 in the Bundesliga for Lewandowski on Saturday. The Polish striker cannot stop scoring at the moment. He showed great composure to double Die Roten’s lead. Throughout the game, he looked threatening in the box. He made a brilliant run to meet Muller’s pass in the second half to score the third goal just when Koln was getting encouragement. Every passing week suggests that Lewandowski will break Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record this season.

How badly have Bayern missed Muller’s intensity in the final third. The German forward made an instant impact against Koln by assisting Lewandowski for Die Roten’s third goal. His intensity and creativity were on full display during the 30-minute cameo.

Gnabry also made a tremendous impact on the pitch after coming on in the 64th minute. The German international showed great composure in front of the goal to score a quickfire brace. After enduring an inconsistent season until now, Gnabry will be hoping that brace will be the start of good form for him.

The Frenchman continued his good form for Bayern this season as he grabbed an assist after coming on for the last 15 minutes in the left-back position.
