LW, Kingsley Coman-7/10

Coman used his quick pace to cause problems for the Lazio backline. He set up Sane’s goal in the 42nd minute as it was his shot and dribble into the penalty area that caused the rebound. That would be his only shot of the match but it was an important contribution to the outcome.

RW, Leroy Sane-8/10

The winger scored his third Champions League goal of the season to help lead the way to victory over Lazio. His cross in the 47th minute was what led to the own goal that put Bayern up 4-0. Lazio struggled to deal with this speed and it certainly showed. One of the best examples of this was right before halftime as he evaded a host of Lazio defenders to set up a shot for Kimmich.

ST, Robert Lewandowski-9/10

Lewandowski scored the opening goal of the match as he intercepted a back pass and promptly fired it past the goalkeeper. It was an important early goal from Lewandowski and it set the tone for the match. He was unlucky to not score a second goal with Pepe Reina producing two great saves to prevent him from recording a brace.

Sub, Javi Martinez-6/10

Martinez entered in the 62nd minute to replace Goretzka. It was just his second appearance since returning to the team. The midfielder finished with one tackle, one interception, and completed 90% of his passes.
