More from Bayern Strikes

MID, Leon Goretzka-7/10

His first appearance in the starting 11 since January went very well. Goretzka recorded a great assist on Musiala’s first-ever Champions League which was his top moment of the match.

Defensively, he recorded an impressive five interceptions. The German international provides more bite to the midfield and his efficient passing helps Die Roten to be more decisive with the ball. Flick will be hoping that Goretzka remains fit for the rest of the season as his importance to the team was highlighted in Rome on Tuesday.

CAM, Jamal Musiala-8/10

The 17-year-old became the second-youngest goal scorer in Champions League history. He delivered a great performance after receiving a place in the starting 11. His first-half goal was a fantastic strike and was a glimpse of what’s to come from the talented teenager. The performance on Tuesday makes sure that Musiala continues to take giant strides in his development this season.
