Will Bayern players help Germany to do well in Euros 2021?

Along with Bayern Munich, this year is also big for the German contingent of the current squad. Germany has been struggling ever since winning the World Cup in 2014. The latest poor result came against Spain in the UEFA Nations League that made sure that they will not be playing finals of the competitions this year.

However, Euros is a much bigger and important stage for Germany. The success of the German national team will lie in the hands of a strong core that is playing together at Bayern. Manuel Neuer has been the best goalkeeper in the world, so his leadership qualities will be essential for Germany at Euros. Niklas Sule was worried about missing Euros last year due to an injury, but the pandemic made sure that the German center-back will be available in 2021.

Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich have formed a strong partnership in the center of the park for Bayern. This duo is likely to be first choice midfield for Joachim Low at Euros. In the attacking department, Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry will have a big role to play for Germany.

A strong season with Bayern for this group of players will bode well for Low’s hopes of doing well with Germany next summer. Apart from Neuer, no one from this German contingent has enjoyed success with the national team, so it is a big year for them.
