Board showing trust in Hansi Flick

After a slow start to the 2019/20 campaign, Bayern Munich fans were fearing worse for the season. The German champions parted ways with Niko Kovac and appointed Hansi Flick as caretaker manager. Since then, there was no looking back for Bavarians.

From caretaker manager to interim to permanent manager, it was a swift journey for Flick as results started picking up on the pitch. Die Roten were playing an intense style of football and dominating opposition without breaking a sweat.

Rekordmeister has been unfortunate and poor in the Champions League since lifting the title in the Wembley Stadium in 2013. Flick made sure that poor run is ended as Die Roten went unbeaten throughout the competition to lift the title in Lisbon with a convincing 1-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain.

Even after winning the second treble of the club’s history, Flick has kept this squad hungry as they are looking formidable in the CL and leading the table in the Bundesliga. The German manager is improving young players and getting the best out of the senior players. Fans adore him for bringing a smile during a strange year. The Bavarian faithful should be thankful for the club hierarchy showing faith in Flick by giving him the permanent managerial role.
