Top five moments for Hansi Flick at Bayern Munich as he completes one year as manager.

After a humiliating 5-1 defeat away at Eintracht Frankfurt on November 2, 2019, Bayern Munich and Niko Kovac decided to part ways. The Croatian manager endured an inconsistent start to the campaign after winning a domestic double in debut campaign.

Since there were two more games left before the international break, Die Roten decided to instill Hansi Flick as a caretaker manager. The German champions were expected to think about a new coach during the break as the likes of Massimiliano Allegri was available while Mauricio Pochettino was close to leaving Tottenham Hotspurs.

However, destiny for Die Roten was completely different, as Flick went from strength to strength in the managerial role. After an impressive start to life as Bayern manager, the club decided to give him time till Christmas to stake a claim for becoming the interim manager.

The German manager managed to pass that test and take up the interim role. Football and results were flowing for Die Roten after the winter break. Flick eventually signed a long-term deal after the lockdown. He went on to win an unprecedented treble, winning the best coach of the year award during the UEFA ceremony earlier this season. On his first anniversary at Bayern, here are the top five moments of Flick’s time at the club.
