Team News for Bayern Munich

Serge Gnabry was back against Moscow after testing negative for coronavirus. The German winger is going through a quiet spell in front of the goal, so Saturday could be a good opportunity to get back himself into form.

Tanguy Kouassi is still not fit to make his debut for Die Roten. The French defender is training on the pitch, but he will not be ready for Saturday’s game. Kouassi is likely to make his debut after November’s international break.

Joshua Kimmich reportedly didn’t train with the squad on Friday, but he has travelled with the team. It remains to be seen whether Flick decides him to rest after playing three games in the last ten days. Leon Goretzka was also reportedly given an extra day off from training after he was substituted in Moscow due to a slight muscle problem. He is likely to be fit to play against FC Koln.

Alphonso Davies remains the long term injury absentee for the German Champions. The Canadian winger is set to be out for at least six weeks after suffering a serious injury against Eintracht Frankfurt. The German club is yet to give a time frame on his return, but Flick is expecting Davies to be out for two months. Corentin Tolisso will miss this game as he serves the second and final game of suspension.
