Takeaways from Bayern Munich’s close win against Lokomotiv Moscow.

Bayern Munich managed to extend the winning run to 13 games in the Champions League on Tuesday. The latest win in this run was against Lokomotiv Moscow. It was a hard toil for the European Champions in Moscow, but they did enough to return to Munich with all three points.

Lokomotiv created problems for the German Champions despite going behind early in the game. They managed to score the equalizer in the second half. At one point, it felt that Die Roten would be lucky to get one point as the hosts were looking dangerous after scoring the equaliser.

Good teams find a way to win when their backs are against the wall. Bayern also found a way to get the winner through Joshua Kimmich on Tuesday. The German midfielder smashed a volley from the edge of the box in the 80th minute to win the game for the visitors.
