Team News for Bayern Munich

Die Roten received positive news on Sunday as Serge Gnabry was released from isolation after going through successive negative coronavirus tests. The German winger was tested positive last Tuesday, so he missed games against Atletico Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt. He travelled with the squad on Monday after returning to first-team training in the morning.

Alphonso Davies suffered a serious injury against Frankfurt on Saturday. Bayern is sweating over his injury. He is unlikely to play again this year, proving to be a massive blow for the club as there are so many games in the next two months.

Tanguy Kouassi continues his recovery from a thigh injury. The French defender has been out for more than eight weeks but started training on the pitch last week. Kouassi is unlikely to get a chance against Lokomotiv. Maybe, the weekend’s game could be the first for the young French defender.

Leroy Sane made his return from a knee injury against Frankfurt. The German winger scored immediately after coming off from the bench. Sane should be expected to make his CL debut for Die Roten on Tuesday. Corentin Tolisso will be back in the matchday squad after missing weekend’s game due to suspension.
