Takeaways from Bayern Munich’s convincing display against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Bayern Munich rounded off an impressive week to make it four wins in a row since the end of the second international break. The German champions cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the matchday five of the Bundesliga.

The games are coming thick and fast, so Die Roten needs to maintain consistency in performances and results. Flick’s men had sent out a statement to the rest of the top clubs in Europe on Wednesday by delivering a big performance against Atletico Madrid at Allianz Arena. There was no hangover of that result on the team as they showed no signs of complacency against Frankfurt.

It was the second-biggest home win in the Bundesliga for Bayern this season. They started the campaign with 8-0 win against Schalke in matchday one of the campaign. Frankfurt could have been on the end of a similar scoreline if the hosts were more clinical in the final third.

Robert Lewandowski took all the headlines on Saturday with yet another hattrick in the Bundesliga. The Polish striker continues to set new records in the German League. Apart from the heroics of Lewandowski on Saturday, here are some key takeaways from the win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
