Takeaways from FC Bayern Munich’s big win against Arminia Bielefeld.

FC Bayern Munich clinched their second win of the week with a handsome 4-1 win against Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga on Saturday. The German Champions were ruthless from the word go after suffering a heavy defeat in their last away game against Hoffenheim.

The German Champions opened the scoring quickly courtesy of Thomas Muller. Robert Lewandowski scored a brace in the first half to effectively seal the game. Muller also doubled his tally in the second half, while the home side got a consolation goal.

Corentin Tolisso had a moment of madness in the second half that led to a red card. With ten minutes left in the game, there was enough time for late drama. However, Die Roten made sure that they returned to Munich with all three points by seeing out the game.

Considering October is a very busy month with a game every three days, it was essential that Die Roten start well after the international break. Apart from the red card for Tolisso, Flick would have been pleased with the performance. Here are our key takeaways from an eventful game in Bielefeld on Saturday.
