FC Bayern Munich has new names in the attacking department, so how is the frontline shaping up for the new season?

FC Bayern Munich were involved in many high scoring games in the Bundesliga and the Champions League last season. Goals are not just the consequence of having good attacking players as the whole team has to work hard in attack and defense. Having said that, Die Roten did have a potent attacking lineup last season.

Robert Lewandowski stole the headlines after enjoying the best goal-scoring season of his career last season. Apart from the Polish striker, there were some handy contributions from other attacking players in the squad.

Bayern did a fair bit of business this summer to improve the attacking department. The club will need all attacking players peaking at the right time of the season to win all possible trophies this season. The younger forwards are likely to get better, while Lewandowski is ageing like a fine wine.

The initial signs have been positive for Rekordmeister in the attacking department as they have already scored 13 goals in three league games. Since Die Roten did important business at the end of the transfer window, let us assess the attacking options Hansi Flick will have at his disposal to challenge on all fronts this season.
