It feels like yesterday when the 2019/20 campaign concluded with a win in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, and here we are ready to start the new Bundesliga campaign three weeks later. Bayern Munich will be beginning their title defense against Schalke on Friday.

Die Roten enjoyed a terrific 2019/20 season by winning the treble. It was the club’s second treble in the last seven campaigns. In the upcoming 2020/21 campaign, there will be more trophies to win as the club will be facing Sevilla in European Super Cup next month. Rekordmeister will also participate in the club World Cup later this year.

Along with other traditional silverware, Bayern have a chance to win six trophies in the upcoming campaign. It is going to be an intriguing campaign. Hansi Flick has raised the expectations by winning three trophies at the club in just ten months by playing an attractive style of football.
