Awards for Bayern Munich players that enjoyed a terrific 2019/20 campaign.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the new campaign is set to start just three weeks later after the end of the 2019/20 campaign. Despite unprecedented circumstances, Bayern Munich did experience a near-perfect 2019/20 season by winning their second treble in seven years.

In the Bundesliga, it was a slow start for Die Roten. Niko Kovac found it difficult to get consistency in performances and eventually lost his job in October due to poor results. The Croatian manager was succeeded by Hansi Flick. The German helped the team to go unbeaten in Hinrunde to clinch their eighth consecutive league title.

Rekordmeister had mixed results in domestic cups. They lost against Borussia Dortmund in DFL Supercup. In the initial rounds of DFB Pokal, Die Roten had to slog hard to get over the line. However, they always found a way to win and eventually defended the DFB Pokal title by clinching a comfortable win against Bayer Leverkusen in the final.

The biggest achievement for Flick last season was to bring the Champions League trophy to Allianz Arena. A dominating unbeaten run of 11 games in the competition helped the club to win their first European trophy in seven years. Along with Flick’s management brilliance, players also stepped up to win three trophies in this campaign. Here is the end of the season awards for a highly successful campaign.
