Player grades for attacking players at Bayern Munich after a memorable campaign.

In the last decade, the best attack in one particular season has gone on to win the Champions League on most occasions. Bayern Munich didn’t have the best attack in the world at the start of the campaign, but players stepped to increase their productivity and form a cohesive attack to bring the European trophy back to Allianz Arena.

Half of the attack is still very young. The acquisition of Leroy Sane will make Die Roten an even more dangerous team. Irrespective of what happens in the coming seasons, 2019/20 was a memorable year for all forwards in Munich, collectively and individually.

In the Bundesliga, Die Roten scored 100 goals to retain the title after an indifferent first half of the campaign. The attacking unit was relentless and ruthless, swatting aside weaker oppositions and coming up with big goals against tough oppositions. They never took the foot off their pedal, hungry to score more goals even when the game was effectively won at half-time.

Every attacking player has a vital role in the treble-winning campaign. Some players’ contributions cannot be quantified in goals and assists, but they brought something different on the table that helped Rekordmeister in various games. In the final piece of this series, here are season grades for attacking players at Bayern.
