Top three memories of  Philippe Coutinho at Bayern Munich.

The loan deals for Bayern Munich expired this week. The German club announced on Wednesday that Philippe Coutinho is going back to Barcelona, while Alvaro Odriozola returns to Madrid, and Ivan Perisic, for now, heads back to Inter Milan.

Die Roten had a montage published on their social media platforms to bid farewell to Coutinho. The Brazilian has thoroughly enjoyed his time in Munich as he enjoyed the most productive season of his career. Coutinho ended the campaign with 20 goals and assists across all competition. Coutinho arrived in Bavaria with much fanfare after the club failed to complete the transfer of Leroy Sane from Manchester City. The Brazilian was expected to put some stardust in the attack, but he found it difficult to feature regularly in the starting XI after showing some promise at the start of the season.

Despite a frustrating campaign in terms of playing time, Coutinho managed to win three trophies with Die Roten last season. Once it became clear that Hansi Flick didn’t see Coutinho as an automatic starter, the club decided against signing Coutinho. While bidding farewell to Coutinho, let us look at his top three moments in Bayern colours.
