Team News for Bayern Munich

Hansi Flick will have a complete squad available for the game against Paris-Saint Germain. The German manager received a big boost against Lyon as Benjamin Pavard came on in the second half when Die Roten were seeing out the game.

Pavard had suffered an ankle injury just before the knockout game against Chelsea. It was initially expected that the French defender would be out for the knockout rounds, but he eventually recovered and joined the squad in Lisbon last week.

Jerome Boateng was substituted at half time against Lyon due to minor knock. The German defender is expected to be fit against PSG. Boateng has struggled a bit in the last two games, but Flick continues to trust the former German international. He is likely to get the nod ahead of other center-backs on Sunday.

Niklas Sule continued to build his match rhythm with 46 minutes under his belt against Lyon. The German defender is slowly getting back to his best after being out on sidelines for more than ten months due to serious knee injury. The German defender is the preferred partner to David Alaba when Jerome Boateng is not available since he is a right-footed defender.

Similar to Sule, Tolisso is also getting back to complete fitness with cameos from the bench against Barcelona and Lyon. Having complete squad available for selection will benefit Flick since there will be a variety of options available across defense, midfield, and attack. However, few players will be disappointed, such as Lucas Hernandez, who was an unused substitute against Lyon.
