Match Preview: Bayern Munich on the verge of history against PSG

Bayern Munich would be looking to clinch sixth CL trophy against PSG.

After struggling to reach the final of the Champions League in the last six seasons, Bayern Munich finally managed to achieve the feat this year. The German Champions will be facing Thomas Tuchel’s Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday.

Die Roten has been phenomenal in the European competition this year. They have won all games in the competition, scoring 43 goals in the process. They have been the best team in Europe this calendar year, winning 23 out of their last 24 games across all competitions.

Meanwhile, PSG are also making history on Sunday. The French club is playing their first final of the Champions League. After years of disappointment in the knockout rounds, PSG finally managed to get results this season under Tuchel.

Die Roten last met PSG in the group stage during the 2017/18 campaign. PSG had put the final nail in the coffin for Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern with a resounding 3-0 win in Paris. The German club did avenge the defeat in the reverse leg. The two clubs will be completing a treble with a win on Sunday, so it is going to be a mouth-watering clash on Sunday with some of the best players on both sides.
