Serge Gnabry continues good form for Bayern Munich against London teams

Serge Gnabry delivering his best performances has been one common theme in Bayern’s games against London based teams this season. The German winger scored four goals against Tottenham Hotspurs in the group stage and came up with a brace during the first leg against Chelsea.

The German winger has been ruthless during these games, scoring six goals with less number of shots. It has been an up and down season for Gnabry, but he has still managed to improve his goal tally, scoring 20 goals across all competitions. (Stats Courtesy: Whoscored)

Gnabry will be looking to add more to this tally before the campaign ends. He will have even more pressure to become consistent after the German club completed the signing of Leroy Sane from Manchester City. Scoring goals in the remaining Champions League will help him to seal a place in the starting XI.

With Chelsea struggling defensively this season, Gnabry will be licking his lips, just like Lewandowski. The German winger would be looking to run at Chelsea’s defense on Saturday and test Kepa Arrizabalaga from distance. He might have scored goals away from home against London sides, but Saturday could be the day where he dazzles at home against the same opposition.
