Will Coutinho and  Sule return for Bayern Munich?

It has been another wretched season for Die Roten on the injury front. The German club has been without senior players for a long time at various stages of the season. However, few players will be returning soon, so Flick can use the last two games to give them some match rhythm.

Niklas Sule was the first big casualty for Bayern this season. The German defender ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during a league game in October. He was not expected to play for Die Roten again this season, but he was determined to be ready for Euros in summer. Euros have been postponed to next year, though. The break has given Sule a chance to play for Die Roten again this season.

Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho has also returned to first-team training this week. The Brazilian playmaker suffered an ankle injury in April. He has completed the recovery and should play some part in the final few games of the season since his loan has been extended till the Champions League is concluded in August.

The game against Freiburg could be the right opportunity for Flick to give some playing time to Sule and Coutinho to find some match rhythm. They may not start the game, but 15-20 minutes off the bench will be handy for him. Flick has managed the return of injured players perfectly, so it will be intriguing to see whether this duo make their return on Saturday.
