Bayern Munich look to clinch title against Werder Bremen

Opposition Focus

Bremen has struggled in the Bundesliga this season, but they still have a chance to survive in the league by winning the remaining three league games. They may succeed by following Gladbach’s approach on Saturday by sitting deep and cutting off passing lanes from the central position.

While going forward, they will have to be very efficient, and target Die Roten on set pieces. The Champions elect don’t concede many chances from open play, but they are vulnerable from corners and free-kicks.

Davy Klaassen will be the main in the midfield for the home side. The Dutch midfielder has scored six goals and created four from central midfield. He will have the responsibility of finding the attacking players when they win the ball on turnovers. In the attack, Milot Rashica is the player to watch, who has contributed to 12 goals in the league, most in the Bremen squad.

Bremen clinched a much-needed victory against Paderborn last weekend, but getting a positive result against Bayern is altogether a different challenge. With Muller and Lewandowski back in the squad, Die Roten should come back home with three points by scoring three goals.
