Bayern Munich will be looking to clinch the title against Werder Bremen.

It is just over a month since Bundesliga became the first top European league to resume football after a two-month-long break due to coronavirus pandemic. The German league is concluding now, while other leagues are also resuming. Bayern Munich are close to becoming champions. They have the chance to seal the title against Werder Bremen on Tuesday.

Die Roten come into this game after a narrow win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday. Hansi Flick’s men struggled to dominate against Gladbach, but they showed immense mental strength to see out the attacks of visitors and score the winner in the dying minutes of the game.

While Rekordmeister is preparing for title celebrations, Werder Bremen is looking to engineer a narrow escape from relegation. They come into this game on the back of a morale-boosting 5-1 win over Paderborn on Saturday.

The previous meeting between these two sides saw a goal fest as Die Roten claimed a 6-1 win at Allianz Arena. This victory was the start of Bayern’s ongoing 17 game unbeaten run in which they have astonishingly dropped points only once. Bremen will be desperate for a victory, so it is not going to be a straightforward game for Rekordmeister.
