Three key battles to watch out when Bayer Leverkusen host Bayern Munich.

After a couple of fixtures in quick succession, Bayern Munich had a week-long break before playing away against Bayer Leverkusen. It has been a happy return to the Bundesliga for Die Roten as they have won all their four games since the resumption of the league in May. The defending champions need three more victories to seal their eighth consecutive league title.

Hansi Flick has managed to come out on top in big games since becoming the first team manager in November. The German manager produced another tactical masterclass when Die Roten clinched a narrow 1-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park.

Bayer Leverkusen delivered a convincing display against Rekordmeister in November, clinching a 2-1 victory at Allianz Arena. Flick will be looking to avenge the defeat and get one over Peter Bosz when the two sides meet at Bay Arena on Saturday.

Both sides boast some of the best talents in the Bundesliga. Along with the tactical battle between two managers, the individual tussles between players will have a big influence on the result. Here are the three key player battles that will shape the outcome of the game on Saturday.
