Team news for Bayern Munich

Die Roten received big boost this week as Thiago Alcantara returned to the first team. The Spanish midfielder has missed the last three league games due to adductor problems. Thiago is likely to be involved in the matchday squad on Saturday.

Lucas Hernandez also trained with the first team this week. The French defender also suffered an adductor problem against Fortuna Dusseldorf. He was substituted at half time after getting his first start since the resumption of football in mid- May.

Philippe Coutinho has resumed training with the ball this week. The Brazilian forward is likely to be back in action for the last three league games and DFB Pokal action. It is still uncertain whether he will be at the club when Champions League will resume. The German club is not going to sign him as he is already being linked with a move back to Premier League in summer.

Niklas Sule is also stepping up the recovery process as he continues to take major strides towards a return to first-team action. However, he still needs few weeks to make the matchday squad. Corentin Tolisso is the long term absentee for the first team as he is unlikely to play again this season.
